Whether it’s a window perfectly positioned to frame a striking view, a room enveloped in wallpaper that transports you to a magical place, or a bed dressed in inviting layers of pattern and texture, I like to bring some wonder to the art of living.
Think smart design ideas paired with memorable experiences that resonate on a soulful level – this is at the core of how I approach every design project.
I work closely with my clients to help them live their best lives at home. My work is never formulaic. It’s a response to each individual need and I work tirelessly to guide every client through the design journey with confidence and ease.
I bring beauty organically to life in highly functional dwellings and products through my boutique studio Suzanne Dimma Design. My design and décor philosophy is about reflecting individual personalities in homes through the intersection of artful expression and functionality.
I stay in tune with cultural shifts and audiences as a regular expert on Cityline and writing for design publications. Canadians first encountered me on my show The Style Department on HGTV and as Design Editor at Wish Magazine and guest editor for other Canadian publications. From 2008 to 2016, I helmed House & Home as Editor-in-Chief and Creative Director for the product line carried at Hudson’s Bay.
I’ve appeared on numerous design panels and showcases, notably designing a British eclectic show kitchen at IDS that explored Ikea’s products in new and surprising ways.
