Benjamin Moore’s Colour of the Year 2020
November 6, 2019

A few weeks ago, I attended Benjamin Moore’s announcement for their Colour of the Year. It was a jam packed gathering of design and media peeps, held at Airship 37 in Toronto’s Distillery district This year’s colour is another subdued choice: First Light 2102-70. I have to admit that I was a bit disappointed at the reveal because it is such a quiet colour but the more I look at it, the more I like it. It’s getting noisier.

It’s a pretty feminine colour, without being over the top saccharine. And it has a distinctly Scandinavian flavour, especially paired with more minimal decor. It’s extremely livable. See? Louder.

So unexpected and very cool in this space. Love it!
