Mod Lantern

Our cottage, Red Rocks, needed a bit of extra lighting at the dining table, so I picked up this simple LED lamp by Menu on a recent press trip I took with Ikea to Copenhagen. I thought it was only available in Europe, but later discovered that it’s carried by a few stores in Canada, including The Modern Shop in Ottawa and Klaus in Toronto. This lamp has been a super addition at the cottage table: it’s recharged with a USB cable, and the built-in handle makes it easy to carry from table to kitchen to deck and back again. And its simple lines blend right in with the aesthetic. Love it!

And at this year’s IDS 2019 in TO I spotted it in the PurParket booth designed by Mason Studio, (loved this space btw), looking right at home all woodsy and campfire like.
