Last summer, I popped into Summerhill Nursery & Floral in downtown Toronto to look for planters and spotted this classic lion head fountain. I’d always thought stone fountains like this would be a big deal to install, but they simply run on a pump on a loop – no plumbing necessary. You can place it anywhere in the garden, fill it up with water and there you have it! While i can’t totally remember how much it cost, I do recall thinking, ‘Hey, that’s not bad!’ I love using fountains in urban yards to drown out city noise and create instant ambience. This one is on my spring shopping list.
