This morning I posted on insta about Zara Home’s spring summer e-catalogue, Timeless, and how I was taken with this gorgeous image of a classic shaker style galley kitchen. I have always been a fan of classic Shaker cabinetry, always will be. The clean lines and quiet beauty appeal to both modern and traditional tastes alike and it never goes out of style (hence the name timeless is a good one!). But this kitchen is especially gorgeous — it’s creamy palette and subtle layers make it so welcoming.
Whoever designed this kitchen did a great job of working around the off-set window to create an eating counter for one, with a view. I’ve seen this problem in so many condo kitchens and I find people are often nervous to break up the counter line, but this is a great example of how the jog can look fantastic. The Zara Home dishwater is pretty gorgeous too. Scroll for more!

I always try to leave space for some display in a kitchen to bring some life and styling to the scene. I love these classic and simple wood shelves and how they are just a shade darker than the creamy walls — so reminiscent of vintage Martha Stewart. Remember her stunning Araucana Paint collection?

I might just pick up a set of these stoneware dinner plates They are lovely and at $13.90 Canadian they are a pretty great deal too.

Same can be said for the linen drapes in this serene, laid back space. Each panel is $129 and the linen appears to be fairly good quality. They have a hidden tab top so
I would add some well-designed clip on rings to the top for easy gliding.
